Wood Fired Pottery

I create handmade pottery in my New Mexico studio using traditional wood firing techniques. Wood firing is a collaboration between the potter and the kiln. During the firing, flame, ash, and intense heat interact with the clay, creating rich surfaces, natural variations, and unique markings that can never be exactly repeated.

Inspired by the landscapes of the Southwest, my work blends rustic forms, natural materials, and simple designs meant to be used and enjoyed every day. No two pieces are exactly alike. Each piece carries the marks of the fire and reflects the beauty of the natural process that created it.
